11 Months

Carter is 11 months old!  He's so much fun.  He crawls around and stands up by everything.  He crawls up in the dishwasher when I'm doing dishes.  He's a good boy. 

 
This is his silly face he's started making.  Poor boy has been trying to get those top teeth in for a while now.  He still only has two teeth.  He's been making more sounds and jabbering more but he doesn't say any words yet.  He says ooh a lot when he likes something.  He loves food.  He's been eating more table food.  He wants everything we're having.

Phoenix Zoo trip

 Garrett had a day off of school and we had nice weather so we went to the zoo.  We thought it would probably be the last opportunity to go before it's too hot.  At such short notice, Grandma Sparks was the only one who could come down and go with us.  Her and Sienna rode on the camel.

 

They fed the giraffe.  Sienna put a piece of lettuce right in it's mouth.

 
The kids had so much fun at the splash pad.  They both loved it but it was a little cold.

 
 

Easter 2012

We got to go down to the Gila Valley for Easter. Saturday night we got together at my grandma's house in Pima and Sienna, Tate, Tanner, and Bryden dyed eggs. They had a good time.

Easter morning.

Sunday we went to church with my parents then had lunch at my grandma's house. The kids hunted eggs and had a blast. I let Carter grab one egg. The rest of the kids got a ton. They had fun checking them out and eating the candy sitting together on the playroom floor. Then we had dinner at Garrett's parents house and Sienna hunted her Easter eggs there and also had fun hiding them and having us find them. It was a really good weekend.

This is Sienna and Carter "camping". I love how well they play together. Sienna is such a good sister and never gets mad at him. They love to play together.

Sienna the Gardener

I know we look a little rough in these pictures, well at least I do but I wanted to post them because Sienna says she wants to be a gardener when she grows up. So my dad got her this little kit when she went to home depot with him. It's to grow flowers. So we planted the flowers and put them outside and watered them but they never grew. So we'll try again. But she had fun planting them.

Safford trip

On March 13th my nephew Wyatt was born. We went down about a week later to see him.  Sienna sure loves him. She's very motherly and good with him. She holds him and rocks him and kisses him. She says she really loves his hair. He's such a cutie.

Carter loves to play with toys at Grandma's. Carter turned 10 months a week after Wyatt was born.

He really loves his grandparents and is attached to Grandma already.

My mom had the week off so we got to do a lot of fun stuff. We went bowling, to the park, out to eat, visited family. We got the three kids' pictures taken together. They turned out cute.

There was a petting zoo in the Bashas parking lot so we went by there. Sienna said she wanted to ride the camel with Grandma and she loved it. I thought she would get scared but she wasn't scared at all. We had a fun time. We ended up being there a week due to car problems. We got two new tires then we headed home and got a flat in one of the old tires when we were almost to Ft. Thomas so we had to go back and get another new tire. So we ended up staying a couple of extra days. Sienna was sure happy to get home to her daddy even though she loves visiting her grandparents.
