cute pics/Sienna's earrings

Sienna's 6 month old picture.

Silly face

Sienna has started eating cereal, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash and applesauce.

Sienna got her ears pierced! Garrett and I took her to Wal-Mart and there were two ladies there so they did both ears at the same time. She screamed so loud! If they only did one at a time, I don't think there is any way we would have got the second one done. She was sooo mad. We gave her a bottle right away and she drank it and then took a nap. When she woke up from her nap she was fine. Me and Garrett were afraid she was still going to be mad. We thought we might regret it because she was so sad right after. We felt bad. This picture is the day she got it done and she was her normal, happy self. She looks so cute with her earrings. I'm glad we got it done.

The month of December

Here's a rundown of what we did in December. I don't have a lot of pictures. I'm going to have to get better at that. I usually only take pictures of Sienna.

We got our first family picture taken. Sienna did so good. They all turned out cute. She really likes to be the center of attention. Lyndsey and the girls taking the pictures were all trying to make her smile so she was loving it.

Sienna turned 5 months old.

On the 18th Me, Garrett, and Sienna got sealed in the temple.

It was a really good experience and Garrett and I are just really happy that we can be together with Sienna forever. She's such a sweetie, we love her so much! She, once again, loved all of the attention and the family all around her. All of Garrett's brothers were able to come down and be there for it so it was really nice to have everyone there with us. A lot of our family and friends from pima, thatcher, and safford were able to be there also. I remember when my family got sealed and it was cool to be able to go through it this time with me being the parent. Now I know what my parent's were doing all that time when we were in the children's center. It's only a couple of hours but when I was a kid it seemed like all day! Afterward Garrett's brothers Cameron and Darren and their families came down to Thatcher for the annual Sparks Christmas party. It was the Saturday before Christmas. It was good spending time with them, it's not very often that we can all get together.

Then we spent Christmas Eve at my mom's and Christmas day at my grandma's in Pima. Sienna got a bunch of toys and it was fun watching her play with all of them. Even though she didn't really know what was going on, Christmas was definately more fun with her here.

Garrett's other brother Brandon and his family came down for Christmas. We spent a lot of time at the Sparks house with lots of fun and good meals thanks to my mother in law:)

Sienna and Tate

Sienna has so many cousins, I should have a lot more pictures but I don't. They all loved her and wanted to play with her.

New Years Eve we went to a friends house for a BBQ and played games but we didn't make it til midnight. Sienna was too tired so we came home early. She did make it till about 11:30 though. She's such a good girl. We had a good month of December and hopefully 2009 will be a good year for us and everyone else!

Finally

So we finally have a blog! I've been wanting to start one since Sienna was born but just haven't done it. It took me 6 months to start it so hopefully I will be good about updating it now. Now that Sienna has started taking better naps I have time to do it. I really just want to be able to look back and remember all the cute stuff that she does since I don't keep a journal or anything. Hope you like it!
