Christmas

We were in Thatcher/Safford for 10 days for Christmas break. Sienna had so much fun playing with her Grandmas, Grandpas, cousins, aunts, and uncles. We went to a Christmas Eve party at the Sparks' house. Sienna had fun playing with Jaxon.

Playing cards at Grandma Moore's house.

The stuff Santa brought after Sienna's stocking got emptied out. She got her jump rope and she got a drum. Sienna left cookies and chocolate milk and a note for Santa. Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk and wrote her back a note that said thank you and Rudolph loved the sprinkles from the cookies. She was pretty happy about that.
From her Grandma and Grandpa Moore she got a Leap Pad, roller skates, clothes, a train set, a suitcase. Carter got a basketball hoop, a chair, a book, cars, a suitcase. From Grandma and Grandpa Sparks they got a CD player and CDs and clothes.
He had fun with the wrapping and the toys.
Trying to get a good picture of them before church was not easy.
We went to church with my family then went to eat at my Grandma's house in Pima. That night we went to the Sparks' house for a while then went back to my mom's house where we were staying. Sienna was so exhausted. She was asleep when we got there but ended up getting up to play some more. We had a really good Christmas.

7 Months Old

We were down in Thatcher when Carter turned 7 months old. He's such a good boy. He has some crazy hair. It's grown way faster than Sienna's did when she was a baby and it sticks straight up. The above picture is him in the morning before he got his hair cut. Marlene trimmed his hair up for me and it looks much better.

After his hair cut. He still doesn't have any teeth. He's started taking really good naps but he wakes up a couple times at night still. We're working on that but it doesn't bother me much right now as long as he just eats and then goes right back to sleep. He's happy most of the time unless he's tired or hungry.

Temple Lights

We had fun looking at the temple lights. It was me and my kids first time actually walking around looking at them.

Thanksgiving 2011

We went to Safford for Thanksgiving. Me and the kids ended up staying almost a week. We all had fun. Garrett could only come down for Thanksgiving day because he had school and work. I didn't take many pictures but here's Sienna and Dooney. She loves that dog. She bosses him around and feeds him all kinds of stuff.
Carter was really interested in my mom's necklace. He stayed like that for about 10 minutes playing with it. He wasn't even putting it in his mouth. Carter is 6 months and 19.5 lbs.
We took the kids to Merry Main Street the day after Thanksgiving to see Santa. Sienna was super excited to go but as we got closer in line she started to get nervous. She was scared by the time we got to Santa and she wouldn't look at him or talk to him. She says she wants a jump rope for Christmas but we can't get her to tell Santa. She wants us to tell him for her.

Sick Carter

Poor Carter has had croup. On November 15 I took him to the e.r. at 11:00 at night because it just came on really bad and he was having a hard time breathing. They gave him some steroids and breathing treatments but he still had to be admitted. He slept a lot in the hospital and we got to go home the 16th around 3:00. It was a long day. Luckily my dad came down to watch Sienna while Garrett went to school. Sienna was sick also with a cold and ear infection. The dr. said Carter probably got sick from Sienna. He started feeling better then we went down to Safford for almost a week during Thanksgiving. When we got home he started coughing again. On December 1st we had to take him back to the e.r. for more steroids and a breathing treatment. He wasn't as bad this time so he got to come home that night. He's doing better but he's still has a cough and runny nose. I just hope he gets over it and is not sick for a long time. I feel bad for my sweet baby.

Carter's 6 Months Old

His first time trying rice cereal. He didn't like it too much.
Sienna got a turn feeding him.
This was his first time trying real food. He had squash. He thought it was really weird. I made him squash and sweet potatoes so far. The foods he's tried so far are squash, sweet potatoes, avocado, and apples. He's liked the avocado the best.
He sits by himself really good. He likes to sit and play with his toys.
He plays in this toy that was Sienna's when she was a baby. He usually only plays in it for a few minutes before...
he gets mad. This is his mad face that he does.
He's such a sweet boy.

Lyndsey's Married!

We went to Safford for Lyndsey's wedding this weekend. It's weird that my little sister is married!
The kids had fun playing Candy Land at Grandma Sparks' house. Sienna actually played a couple times but Carter tried to get in on a game.
Sienna sat on Tate and Tanner's new pony Teddy.
Sienna was the flower girl in Lyndsey's wedding. She looked so cute of course.
Carter looked cute in his pink tie that his aunt Melissa made for him. She made them for all the little boys.
Carter and Sienna with my dad. I tried to get one of Carter and my mom but it was later on and my camera wasn't working so good in the dim light.
Sienna did awesome as a flower girl. She wanted to walk by herself and throw the flower petals. She had fun even though the whole time leading up to the wedding she was mad that her dress was going to be pink and not green. Green is her favorite color right now. My mom told her she would get her a green dress for Christmas so she was happy.
Sienna and Bryden really love each other. They're both sweethearts and like to give lots of loves.
Carter chewed on his tie the whole night. Lyndsey looked so pretty in her dress.
Sienna, Harlee, Tate, and Tanner had fun running around together and playing.
We came home early Sunday morning. This picture isn't very clear but on the drive up and the drive back Sienna would grab Carter's hand and they would hold hands for a long time. Sienna's always so sweet to him and he loves her.

Halloween Fun

Our first fun thing we did was a neighborhood carnival. They blocked off the street where our friends live and had a carnival.
Trying to get a picture of both kids was not going so good. Carter was hungry and trying to eat Sienna's costume.
Batman
Sienna had fun playing games, and riding a little train, and we ate hotdogs.
Me and my boy.
His cape.
Then on the Thursday before Halloween we went to a farm that had a fall festival. Sienna loved riding this little train. She rode it 3 times.
My boys.
Silly girl. She was in the hay maze.
Seesaw.
This was a big bouncy air pillow thing to jump on.
Sienna's pumpkin she picked out.
We carved pumpkins.
Then on Halloween night we went back to our friends neighborhood for trick or treating. We walked down a few streets. Sienna got a ton of candy. Garrett would take her up to get the candy and they thought she was a cute pirate so Garrett told her to say argh! then they gave her extra candy.
Carter just had fun hanging out.
We came home and lit our pumpkins. Sienna was wired for a while from all the candy she ate.
